One of the most important milestones in the history of Puerta del Sur S.A. was the inauguration of the new passenger terminal in December 2009. A work of the renowned Uruguayan architect, Rafael Viñoly, it has become a source of pride for Uruguayans, and has received international awards for both its architecture and its excellent level of services.

Carrasco Airport is managed by Puerta del Sur S.A. a company of the Corporación América Airports group, and is a part of the airport network, Aeropuertos Uruguay, composed by eight international airports throughout the country.

With the development of the new National System of International Airports, through Aeropuertos Uruguay, we reaffirm our commitment to the country, taking our quality vision and management also to the airports of Rivera, Durazno, Salto, Carmelo, Paysandú and Melo.
