Sunflower Program
Since December 2024, Carrasco Airport has joined the Sunflower program, an initiative that seeks to improve the travel experience for people with disabilities or non-visible conditions. This proposal offers a necklace with sunflowers for those who voluntarily want to indicate that they might need support, additional assistance or a little more time in the process of their trip. If you are at Carrasco Airport and want to access the sunflower necklace, you can request it free of charge 24 hours a day at the information stand located in the arrivals hall. Our team is trained to provide you with assistance whenever you need it and if you require specific assistance during the flight, remember to request it directly from your airline.

In 2023, we were the first airport in the region to obtain the first level of certification in the Airports Council International (ACI) Accessibility Improvement program.
