We launched the ‘Women in Aviation, Travel & Tourism’ scholarship program

We are proud to share that we launched the “Women in Aviation, Travel & Tourism” (WIATT) initiative, a scholarship program for women in the aviation, travel and tourism industry.

This initiative of Corporación América Airports seeks to bring training opportunities closer to women in the industry, offering in its first edition 100 scholarships for master’s degrees, undergraduate courses, technical degrees and focused courses in various educational institutions in order to enhance their professional development.

“We are committed to actions that promote gender equality, and carry out projects that promote the training of women so that their careers continue to take off,” said Estefanía Cardozo, head of Human Resources Development at Aeropuertos Uruguay.

The institutions participating in the proposal are ORT University, Universidad de la Empresa, Escuela del Aire, Instituto Turístico Hotelero del Uruguay, Punta del Este Flight School, Carrasco Flight School and Langland Institute.
