We are proud to share the opening of the country’s first TUMO center, located at the entrance of Carrasco International Airport.
TUMO Uruguay offers an innovative, free and extracurricular educational program in creative technologies for teenagers aged 12 to 18.
This is a high-impact social initiative brought to Uruguay by Aeropuertos Uruguay and Corporación América Airports, as part of our commitment to promoting educational projects and supporting the development of the communities where we operate.
In addition, TUMO Uruguay has a strategic partnership with Ceibal across disciplines such as robotics, animation, 3D modeling, music, film, generative artificial intelligence, game development and programming.
The center began operations in April and has already welcomed its first groups of students in a purpose-built space designed to foster learning and innovation. It features a self-learning room, music studios, robotics labs and workshops equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
TUMO offers a different learning experience, based on self-directed learning, hands-on workshops and project-based work, supported by tutors and experts.
Young people interested in participating can visit the website tumo.uy.
