We are excited to share that we have renewed our Libros para Volar (Books to Fly) initiative, incorporating new titles at Carrasco Airport, adding a digital library for our youngest passengers, and launching the initiative at Punta del Este Airport as well.

‘Libros para Volar’ is a program by Aeropuertos Uruguay in collaboration with Biblioteca País of Plan Ceibal, aimed at enhancing the passenger experience by offering free digital reading options to travelers.

At both Carrasco Airport and Punta del Este Airport, the spaced dedicated to ‘Libros para Volar’ can be found in the boarding area, to make the waiting time more enjoyable for our travelers.

Each digital library contains a variety of options including classic and contemporary Uruguayan literature, poetry, fiction and non-fiction, options for children and young adults, and audiobooks.

To access the books, passengers must download the Biblioteca País app, scan the QR code on the cover of each book with their electronic device, and enjoy.

With the relaunch of  this program, we aim to continue spreading Uruguayan literature and culture while offering a new form of entertainment to enhance the experience of the passengers who visit us.
