Latin America Cargo City has been internationally recognized for its sustainable practices, earning the Silver Medal in the EcoVadis assessment. This result places LACC among the top 15% of companies worldwide in the transportation support sector and confirms the path we have been steadily following toward an increasingly responsible and transparent operation.
This recognition reflects the progress achieved in recent years and the joint work of the entire team to incorporate environmental, social and governance criteria into every process. Key initiatives include reducing fossil fuel use through the incorporation of electric forklifts, and the digitalization of export processes, which enabled a 98% reduction in paper consumption.
The EcoVadis distinction highlights the level of sustainability maturity reached and encourages us to continue strengthening policies that protect natural resources, promote responsible practices, and place people at the center of our operation.
