We are proud to announce that Carrasco International Airport closed 2025 with a historic passenger record: 2,144,071 travelers passed through the country’s main air terminal during the year, surpassing the previous record set in 2017.
This milestone confirms the sustained growth of air connectivity and reflects the work we have been driving to strengthen Uruguay’s connection with the region and the world, supporting the expansion of routes and frequencies by the airlines operating at Carrasco.
During the year, January was the busiest month, reaching 206,544 passengers and becoming the January with the highest number of travelers recorded to date.
This growth was accompanied by improvements in infrastructure and services, reaffirming our commitment to a safe and efficient operation and to providing an increasingly smooth and comfortable travel experience for our passengers.
