New Montevideo–Rivera Route

Domestic connectivity continues to grow! We are proud to announce that starting December 1st, Paranair will begin operating a new domestic route connecting Montevideo and Rivera, with two weekly frequencies on Mondays and Wednesdays.

This new connection represents another step forward in our purpose of connecting the country, creating opportunities, and bringing regions closer together. At Aeropuertos Uruguay, we continue strengthening the national airport network and promoting the development of commercial aviation in the interior of the country.

With a flight duration of 45 minutes and a total estimated travel time of 1 hour and 5 minutes, the route will be operated with 50-passenger aircraft, offering an agile and safe alternative between the capital and the north of the country.

Rivera Airport, managed by Aeropuertos Uruguay, was inaugurated in December 2023 after a comprehensive modernization process that transformed its infrastructure and aligned it with international standards of operation, safety, and service. This project is part of the national plan we are carrying out to improve air connectivity and access throughout the territory.

The new route adds to Paranair’s existing domestic offer, which already connects Montevideo with Salto through three weekly frequencies, consolidating the growth of national connectivity and reaffirming our commitment to bringing the country closer through the air.
