Paysand\u00fa International Airport hosted two Open Day events held during Tourism Week and alongside the deployment of the Uruguayan Air Force (FAU) Liaison Squadron.<\/p>\n
Both were very special community engagement activities, attracting hundreds of visitors and offering a closer look at how the airport operates.<\/p>\n
Attendees had the opportunity to see aircrafts up close and learn more about aviation-related operations. They could also explore static displays and gain first-hand insight into the work of the airport\u2019s Fire Department.<\/p>\n
The event held during the FAU Liaison Squadron\u2019s deployment featured an unforgettable closing, including an aerobatic demonstration flight by a Pilatus aircraft and a formation flight of the squadron\u2019s four planes.<\/p>\n
During Tourism Week, the Open Days were organized together with the Paysand\u00fa Aeroclub, also offering guided tours of the facilities and recreational activities for the whole family.<\/p>\n
