One of the most important milestones in the history of Puerta del Sur S.A. was the inauguration of the new passenger terminal in December 2009. A work of the renowned Uruguayan architect, Rafael Vi\u00f1oly, it has become a source of pride for Uruguayans, and has received international awards for both its architecture and its excellent level of services.<\/p>

Carrasco Airport is managed by Puerta del Sur S.A. a company of the Corporaci\u00f3n Am\u00e9rica Airports group, and is a part of the airport network, Aeropuertos Uruguay, composed by eight international airports throughout the country.<\/p>
